Intel USB 3.0 Candid Message to the Masses

Could anyone invest the necessary time and money to create such a host controller specification? Of course they could…

It’s refreshing to read official messages and comments like the one Nick from Intel just posted, USB 3.0 for the masses – Dispelling the myths.

These major companies, like Intel, are run by human beings you know. It’s just that somewhere along the line it was decided that you had to be all Official and say everything proper because if you didn’t then you’d be in trouble/put people off. What a load of shit….

Good work Nick :)

  • No Thanks

You are a fool. Your ignorance and neivity on the matter is astounding. Please do a little more research, and you may understand why I would say this.

“Aussie IT Guy Extraordinaire”? Somehow, I doubt this.

As they say, “it’s better to be quiet and thought of as a fool, than to speak up and remove all doubt.”

I guess its best to go around the web anonymous, then you can be a fool and make some noise at the same time ;)

How come you didn’t just put a reply on the Intel thread?

I’m not really into the details about USB 3.0 anyway – what I was really interested in was the fact that this message came out from such a large organisation. It’s refreshing to read comments that haven’t gone via legal & marketing for a tick – so to speak.

It’s still valid at the end of the day consumers who use technology simply as a tool to get something done are not going to care what they use. They just want to be able to connect thing A to thing B and be done with it.

I personally want a wireless solution, USB 3.0, eSATA, FireWire, USB 2.0 all suck, give me something wireless. Bluetooth is limited in its usefulness…
